All Nepal Peasants' Federation (ANPFa), regional thematic focal organization of South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE) is going to organize a regional conference on climate change and its implications on lives and livelihood of poor people of South Asia. The events will be organized in Chitwan, Nepal from December 31 to January 2, 2010. Besides the SAAPE country thematic focal organization on food sovereignty, climate change, livelihood and employment; academician and research professional, activists and CSO movement are invited. Limited seats are available for few interested professionals and organizations.

2. Climate Change Research (Ongoing)
ANPFa is conducting a research on impacts of climate change on indigenous and schedule caste people of Nepal in the hill region (Supported by PAN AP). The research projects is focussed on women and rice farming which was started in October 2010 and will be completed soon.
