Mission and Goals

  1. To mobilize all section of Peasants' populace in favour of genuine agrarian reforms and revamp democratization process for eradication of feudalism, organize protest on anti-peasants activities and policies of globalization, WTO and IFIs.
  2. To strengthen and empower peasants' movements through awareness building and organizational discipline to activate their inherent rights.
  3. To surge struggle forward in fovour of food sovereignty, sustainable agriculture development and revolutionary land reforms.
  4. At activate peasants' communities to protect, conserve and develop bio-diversity resources.
  5. To campaign restructuring for Nepalese farming system to conform to bio-diversity based agriculture with a view to commercialization and industrialization.
  6. To promote agri-mechanization and extension of agri-market.
  7. To activate agri-co-operative movements to modernize business of Agriculture.
  8. To build pressure on government to proclaim genuine agrarian reforms to empower and ensure tiller peasants' to access land and other food productive assets and infrastructures.
  9. To organize training programs and conduct capacity enhancement seminar, workshops to empower peasants towards agri-business and modernization.
  10. To facilitated info system for the benefit of large masses of peasants to make them more competitive and quality conscious.
  11. To arm peasants masses with solidarity spirit regarding international peasants movements, people based farmer movements, neo-liberalist anti- peasant policies serving the interest of comprador capitalists, TNCs etc.
  12. To promote exchange of peasants' visits, both inside and outside the country to generate peasant brotherhood and understanding at wider/respective.
  13. To initiate and mobilize co-working with all peasants associations, both national and international, to help build common program of action and promote peasants networking to respect and realise peasants' interest rights.
